Sarah's Maternity Session

 I’m still on a high from photographing Sarah, who’s eight-months pregnant with her little one and looking straight up gorgeous! We headed over to Oklahoma, where we were able to utilize tons of natural light. Needless to say, from the location to the clothing to the light and beyond, every element came together to make for some incredibly beautiful images.

A Fresh 48 Hospital Session in OKC

Coming at you on the blog today is another Fresh 48, a documentary-style shoot where I come in and photograph the baby within the first two days of birth. This session features the Johnston family and their newest addition, Lainy. For this one, I headed over to their hospital room in Oklahoma City and spent time there quietly observing and photographing those precious early moments.    

As you can imagine, there was a lot going on while I was there, and I was given utmost creative freedom when it came to shooting. That made for some of my favorite images taken to date, including this one below:
