Looking Back: An Anniversary in an Unprecedented Time

 These two lovely people got married in March, 2020, a year of pandemic change ago.  I loved their high spirits during their beautiful wedding day, and as I've seen them throughout the year.  They are the perfect example of joy abounding during a time of change!

An Intimate Wedding at Highland Park Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma

When some of the kindest people get married during the Coronavirus pandemic, what do you do?!  Well, this is probably the first and only wedding I photographed in gym shorts!  They limited their number to stay in ordinance with the current CDC recommendations, and as I realized they were using their iPhones to document the day, I ran with my camera to say hello.  (Anthony, the groom, knew me so the bridal party waved us down.)  It was such an honor to paparazzi-style photograph you two on your wedding day!

Petral and Rachel got married this summer at Highland Park Baptist Church with an awesome group of social-distanced tailgaters in the church parking lot!  It was a joyful time, with the added celebration of Rachel getting married on her parents' anniversary.

Congratulations on your new adventure to pursue your P.H.D. in Pennsylvania!  (Dr. and Mrs. sounds really good, amirite?!)
